A PRICE YOU CAN FEEL Sweep the payment dial from $400,000 to $3,000,000 and the monthly payment follows at the 30 year rate the app has, which the card names. The cash to close estimate under it reads the same price, so one gesture answers two questions. Carry that price into the full calculator and it arrives already filled in. FIVE CALIFORNIA CALCULATORS Mortgage payment, affordability, property tax under Prop 13, closing costs by county custom, and HELOC. Every number is a slider you drag or a readout you tap and type an exact figure into, and choices like county, city transfer tax and loan term are chips and switches you tap. Closing costs knows Alameda and Santa Clara county customs and re-filters the city transfer tax when you change county. The payment calculator picks up the live rate and stops the moment you type your own, with one tap to put it back. Your inputs stay on the device, so nothing has to be retyped.
