Fregata Mobile works with Frigate 0.17 or later, the open-source NVR you run at home, and with any version of Fregata NVR. ALERTS THAT SHOW YOU WHAT HAPPENED • Every notification arrives with its snapshot, then quietly upgrades to a playable clip. • Straight from your own NVR: no Home Assistant, no MQTT, no extra server to run. • Encrypted so that Apple's servers can never read them. • One event, one buzz. Updates arrive silently, so a busy driveway doesn't turn your phone into a pager. • Set up for you: one tap turns on Frigate's notifications, restarts it with your OK and sends a test. ONLY THE ALERTS YOU WANT • Notification filters like Home, Away and Sleep choose which cameras, objects and zones may alert you, and how loudly: Silent, Normal or Time Sensitive. • Quiet hours, and Snooze for one camera or for everything, up to 24 hours. • Held back lists what your filters kept from you, and why. • Shortcuts can switch the filter when you leave home or arrive. ON THE LOCK SCREEN • Live Activities keep an alert that's still going on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with its picture, a running clock, Watch Live and Snooze 1 Hour. • Six widgets, including Latest Alert, Cameras and Alerts to Review. • Control Center controls switch the filter or snooze alerts without opening the app. RECORDINGS, REVIEW AND SEARCH • Drag through hours of footage and every frame follows your finger. Alerts and detections pull the playhead in with a haptic tick. • Review alerts and detections by camera and object. Opening one marks it reviewed on your NVR. • Search in plain words, like "black car", with Frigate's semantic search, and Find Similar for every look-alike. Recognized faces and plates show by name. • Trim a clip and save it to Photos or Files, or send it in Messages. LIVE VIEW • Low-latency live video, decoded in hardware, with sound. • The grid shows still pictures. Only the camera you open streams, and it stops when you leave. APPLE WATCH AND IPAD • On Apple Watch: any camera on your wrist, alerts with a Live button, and complications for what's waiting to be reviewed. • On iPad: Review in three columns, with the list, the timeline and the details side by side. AT HOME AND AWAY • Give it your home and away addresses, and it uses whichever answers. • Works behind Tailscale, Cloudflare Access, reverse proxies and self-signed certificates. • More than one NVR? Switch with a tap, and every server sends its alerts. ON-DEVICE AI ON IOS 27 • On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, the app describes each alert's picture on the device. Nothing is sent anywhere, and there's no AI server to run. • An alert can start a shortcut, like turning on the porch light when someone's at the door. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No Fregata account, no analytics, no trackers, no ads, and nothing locked away. Live view, recordings and snapshots go from your NVR to your devices and nowhere else.
