About GroceryLens
Your grocery bill went up. GroceryLens tells you why. Scan a grocery receipt and GroceryLens reads every item, price and total, then shows what actually changed since last month: which prices rose, what you bought more of, and where the money really went. WHAT IT DOES Receipt scanner. One photo. It reads the items, prices, quantities and totals. It checks the maths. If the items do not add up to the printed total, GroceryLens flags the gap instead of quietly showing a wrong number. Your own price history. See what you paid last time for the things you buy every week, and when you paid less. Budget tracker. Spending by category, month over month, against a budget you set. Bill change explained. How much was price rises, how much was buying more, how much was switching products. Shopping list built from what you actually buy. Every line editable. Correct anything it misreads, and your correction sticks. WHY THIS AND NOT A SPREADSHEET Because the interesting question is not what you spent. It is why it changed. GroceryLens separates a price rise from a bigger shop, so "groceries cost more" becomes something you can act on. BUILT TO ASK FOR ALMOST NOTHING An email address. That is the whole list. No name. No phone number. No home address. No card details. It never asks for your location. Photos are resized and stripped of location and camera metadata on your iPhone, before anything is sent. You see every receipt and confirm it before it is saved. Your receipts are yours: read them, correct them, export them, delete one, or delete your entire account from inside the app. On any plan. At any time. No adverts. No tracking across other apps. Nothing sold to anybody. HONEST ABOUT NUMBERS Every figure is arithmetic on receipts you saved. GroceryLens shows the lowest price you have recorded yourself, never a claim about what a shop near you charges today, because it does not have that information and does not collect it. FREE AND PLUS Free: 10 receipt scans a month, 90 days of grocery spending history, category budgets, and a monthly explanation of what changed. GroceryLens Plus: unlimited receipt scans, your full grocery price history, detailed bill-change explanations, weekly shopping plans, and unit-price and shrinkflation insights. Prices are shown by the App Store in your local currency. A subscription renews until cancelled, and you can cancel any time in your App Store account settings. Questions: [email protected]
