LifeLine is a life, one year at a time. You are born somewhere in the world to a family you did not pick, and what you do at eight is still following you at eighty. Press Age. A year happens: money, people, health, and something you did not see coming. Choose what to do about it. Press Age again. Do that until the stone. A CHILDHOOD THAT ACTUALLY MATTERS Most life sims make you tap through the first eighteen years. LifeLine does not. Take up martial arts, boxing, swimming, music, art, coding, drama, debate or chess. Stay with it year after year and it becomes part of who you are, permanently, as a trait your own children can inherit. Behave at school or cause trouble. Both follow you out of the building at eighteen. THEN THE REST OF IT Twenty-four careers, from barista to neurosurgeon. Ask for a raise and your boss remembers the last time you asked. Buy a house on a mortgage and the bank expects its money.
