Set your run and rest lengths with the +/- steppers (15-second increments) and let it repeat automatically, with a countdown beep and a strong vibration on every interval cycle change while you're using the app. If your phone is locked or the app is backgrounded, you'll still get an alert for each interval switch via a notification. Track your distance in miles or kilometers as you go, and set a mileage goal to get an alert the moment you hit it.
