Missed connections, the way they've always worked: you write the ad, and the person you're looking for reads it and steps forward. Beau is that, plus a few things the wild west never had: smart, techie features that help you find each other, a way for him to say "that was me", and a platform for you to chat with each other. WRITE THE POST Say where, when, and what happened, the way you'd tell a friend. Add what you'd know him by, a photo of yourself if you like, and a map pin at whatever precision you choose. A coffee shop at 9am, a train platform, the gym, a park, a club at 1am. Any place, any hour. HE READS IT AND RAISES HIS HAND Every post is public, so he can find it. When he does, he taps a button and writes what he remembers. You see his side of the story, decide if it was him, and say yes or no. If you say yes, a conversation opens. NOBODY TALKS UNTIL YOU BOTH SAY YES A raised hand is a yes from him, and the conversation waits for yours. No one can message anyone until both of you agree. Say no and that's the end of it, no harm no foul. READ THE POSTS NEAR YOU Browse the feed or the map... someone may have written about you! FIND A POST Search in your own words: "tall guy in the blue jacket, coffee shop on Tuesday morning." Beau reads the place, the time, and the details and looks through every live post. If nobody has written about you yet, your words become your own post. EVENTS See what's going on, add your RSVP, and afterward find the missed connections from that event, all gathered in one place. PLACES YOU'VE BEEN Turn it on and Beau can quietly let you know when a new post describes somewhere you were at the time. Only you see it. Nobody is told you were there, and nothing happens unless you raise your hand. This background location feature is totally optional.
