Qibla Daily: Prayer & Quran

The prayer app that actually wakes you for Fajr — with sources you can check. Qibla Daily is the companion app to qibladaily.com, built by the team behind it. It's designed around the one thing every prayer app review complains about: notifications that don't fire. Fajr especially. We schedule each prayer as a Time-Sensitive notification on iOS so it reaches you even when your phone is in Focus, Do Not Disturb, or asleep in your pocket. If it still doesn't work, a built-in diagnostics screen checks every known cause — permissions, Focus exemptions — tells you exactly what to fix, and sends a test notification so you can confirm it yourself. EVERY PRAYER TIME, CALCULATED ON YOUR DEVICE Diyanet, ISNA, MWL, Umm al-Qura, and more calculation methods. Hanafi or Shafi'i madhab. High-latitude rules. Per-prayer minute offsets. Nothing is calculated on a server or sent anywhere — your location never leaves your phone. No account required to use any of it. QIBLA COMPASS Works fully offline, shows your bearing and your distance to the Kaaba. Declined location access? Pick from 280 built-in cities, including all 81 Turkish provincial capitals — the app still works with no GPS at all. GETTING BACK ON TRACK — WITHOUT THE GUILT Missed years of prayers? The qada tracker turns an overwhelming number into a plan: pick a daily pace, see a real completion date, log prayers as you catch up, and clear a whole day at once. Start the estimate on qibladaily.com and it carries straight into the app. Free, no judgment, no ads on this screen ever. LEARN TO PRAY, STEP BY STEP Six modules — wudu, the 2, 3 and 4 rakah prayers, witr with both the Hanafi and Shafi'i forms, and what to expect at Jumu'ah. Arabic, transliteration, and plain-language instructions with nothing assumed. Built for reverts and anyone returning to prayer after years away. THE FULL QUR'AN, OFFLINE All 114 surahs with translation, bundled in the app — no download, no connection needed to read. Recitation audio streams and is cached as you play it. DUAS YOU CAN TRACE TO A SOURCE Every dua shows its hadith collection, number, and authenticity grading — Sahih, Hasan, or otherwise. No unsourced text. ALSO INSIDE A daily prayer tracker, a tasbih counter that keeps your daily totals, and full English and Turkish localization. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No location tracking, no ad SDK until you've said yes, no data sold. Ever. FREE FOREVER: prayer times, all notifications, qibla, the Qur'an, the daily tracker, qada counting and logging, learn-to-pray, duas, and tasbih.
