About Grippy: Climbing Journal

Forget a boulder's beta two hours after you climbed it? Grippy remembers so you don't have to. MARK HOLDS, NOT GUESSWORK Snap a photo of the wall and tap to mark every hold - or let Grippy's AI detect them for you. Assign hand, foot, start and finish holds, and jot down beta right on the hold you'll forget otherwise. TRACK EVERY SESSION Log solo sessions or full climbing days with your squad. See what you sent, what's still a project, and how many attempts it took. TAKE IT OUTSIDE Outdoor counts too - snap a photo of any rock and mark holds exactly like you would in the gym, AI detection included. YOUR GYM, IN THE APP (soon) Browse boulders your gym has set - organized into sets and walls, with grades and tags. Copy any one to your own boulders to track your attempts, or jump straight into a session with it. Whether you're working a hard project or logging a warm-up circuit, Grippy keeps the details you'd otherwise forget.

What’s new

Version 0.1.4 · Updated October 21, 2026

After an iOS update, some boulder wall photos could show as empty grey thumbnails even though your problems were still saved. This update fixes local photo paths and restores photos from your account when needed.
