About Apex Health IQ

Apex Health IQ connects you and your family to a licensed clinician by phone, video or chat. Day or night, every day of the year. Your employer already paid for it, so a visit costs you nothing under your plan. YOU TELL IT ONCE Say what is wrong in your own words, out loud or typed. The app handles the medical wording. Your note goes to the clinician on shift, who reads it while you wait, so the call opens with someone who already knows why you called. You are not typing at a bot and you are not starting over. A REAL PERSON, BY NAME Their name is on the screen before you say a word. Phone, video or chat put you in the same queue and leave the same record afterward. The visit is recorded only if you allowed it, and you can change that at any time. WHAT YOU GET AFTERWARD A summary signed by the clinician who treated you: what they found, what they prescribed, and what to do tonight. Any prescription goes to your pharmacy. The message thread stays open for 72 hours, so a question later still reaches the person who saw you. WHAT PEOPLE CALL ABOUT Sore throat. Ear infection. Sinus infection. Pink eye. Cough and fever. Rash and bites. Stomach bug. Seasonal allergies. Prescription refills. If your problem needs hands, a lab or a scan, the clinician tells you and points you to the right place. That is the same visit, not a wasted one. EVERYONE ON YOUR PLAN When you set up the app it reads your employer's eligibility file and finds everyone covered. No birthdays to type, no policy numbers to hunt for. One account, and it keeps the history for all of them. WHAT YOUR EMPLOYER SEES A count. No name is attached to it, because no name is sent. Your visit, your words and the name of the clinician who treated you are yours. GETTING STARTED Start from the link or code your employer sent you, confirm the family the app has already found, and answer two questions about recording and messaging. It takes about a minute. IMPORTANT Apex Health IQ is not for emergencies. If you think you are having one, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Clinicians prescribe only when it is appropriate. Some medications, including controlled substances, cannot be prescribed through a remote visit. Apex Health IQ requires an active employer benefit. You cannot sign up without one.
