Chord Jot: Chord Sketchbook

Chord Jot is a fast chord sketchbook for capturing musical ideas before they disappear. Jot down a chord progression, hear it immediately, and save it for later. No project setup. No timeline. No need to open a full DAW just to answer one simple question: How would these chords sound together? Quick Enter chords with the built-in chord keyboard or your usual keyboard, then play them instantly. Adjust the length of each chord and the tempo, edit the progression, and keep experimenting without breaking your flow. Chord Jot supports a wide range of chord types and common chord notation, from simple triads to extended and altered chords. Ideas Need a starting point? Choose a key, Major or Minor, song section, mood, length, and chord color. Chord Jot generates several progression ideas that you can immediately play, compare, and edit. Ideas are not finished songs. They are starting points for your own music. Library Save the progressions you want to remember and come back to them whenever inspiration returns. Rename, replay, or edit your saved chord ideas at any time. Shortcuts Capture chord progressions with Apple Shortcuts and find them later in Chord Jot. Made for the space between a note app and a DAW. Chord Jot is not a full music production studio—and it does not try to be one. It is a lightweight place to capture a chord idea, hear it, and move on before the idea disappears. Core chord writing and playback are available for free. Chord Jot Pro expands the app with more room for saved ideas, deeper Ideas options, and extended Quick controls. Pro is a one-time purchase. No subscription.
