About Cohlta
Cohlta is your city, as it is right now. Short videos from the streets, venues and neighborhoods around you — posted by people who were actually there, tagged to the place they happened. SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING Scroll a feed built from where you are, not from what an algorithm decided you watched last month. Every video is tied to a real place, so the feed changes when you do. ASK ANYTHING Ask is a genuine assistant. Ask it what a bar is like on a Tuesday, which rooftop has live music this weekend, how to get across town, or anything else at all — it answers properly, and when your city is the subject it draws on the videos people have actually posted there. EXPLORE ON THE MAP Open the map and see what's been posted around you. Tap a pin, watch the video, decide whether it's worth the walk. SHARE WITH FRIENDS Post publicly to Pulse, or to friends only. Send videos and voice notes in direct messages, react, and reply. Your friends feed is separate from the public one. IN YOUR LANGUAGE Cohlta speaks English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Titles and comments written in another language show up translated into yours, with the original one tap away. MADE FOR REAL PLACES Cohlta works wherever you are. Record, trim, add text, pick a filter, post. - Place-tagged short video - Ask, for any question - A live map of what's nearby - Friends-only posting and direct messages - Stories - Save and download what you like - Posts translated into your language Cohlta is built by Contrivance Inc. in New York.
What’s new
Version 1.1.12 · Updated October 29, 2026
- For you: events picked for you tonight, this weekend and this week, with your evening at the top. Tap More or Less on any event and the list learns what you like. Find it on the Map with the For you chip. - Notifications open what they are about: a news or events notification opens its story right away, and a single event opens on the map. - Likes, reposts and comments show everywhere at once, without a refresh. - Videos come back on their own if your phone resets its audio and video, instead of staying frozen. - Event times in chats and plans show the event's own local time. - Fixes and polish.
