Seyal HR - Smart Attendance

Seyal is a workforce management platform for small and medium businesses in India. It covers everything from a worker punching in on site to attendance being reported at the end of the month. Seyal is deployed by an employer for their own workforce. Employees are enrolled by their organisation and sign in with their work phone number. It is not a general-purpose app for individual use. Attendance Workers punch in and out with a selfie, verified against a geo-fenced work location. Optional face matching compares the selfie against a reference photo held by the employer. Punches taken without a signal are stored on the device and synced when the connection returns. Shifts Assign shifts, manage rest days, handle night shifts that cross midnight, and track overtime against your organisation's rules. Leave Apply, approve and track leave with balances, carry-forward and comp-off. Approvals follow your reporting structure. Dashboards and reports See who is present, absent, late or on leave at a glance. Muster roll, attendance summaries, overtime and late-arrival reports, exportable for your accountant. Roles and permissions Owners, administrators and managers see only what their role allows. Every manager sees their own team; approvals follow the reporting line. Built for Indian workplaces Available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati and Marathi. Permissions Camera is used to take the selfie that accompanies each punch. Location is used to confirm a punch was taken at an assigned work site. Both are used only for attendance and only while the app is in use. Your employer configures which of these apply.
