Philly Christian Students

Philly Christian Students is the app for a student club at the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University, open to students from Drexel, Villanova and other Philadelphia-area campuses. WEEKLY BIBLE STUDIES We read the Bible together on campus weekly both at UPenn and Temple University. Bring your Bible and come join us. The current times and rooms are always in the app. EVENTS AND RSVP See what is coming up and RSVP in two taps — the Intercollegiate Community Dinner, retreats, game nights and outdoor recreation. Add any event straight to your calendar. STAY IN TOUCH Get a notification when a room changes, a meeting is cancelled, or something new is announced. Choose your campus and the things you are interested in, and nothing else will reach you. You do not need an account. JOURNEY: YOUR OWN JOURNAL Write a few lines after each Lord's Day meeting, Bible study or home meeting, and add photos with captions. Retreats and the Intercollegiate Community Dinner keep all of their sessions together. Look back by day, week, month or semester, and see your totals add up. HABITS AND PRAYER Keep track of Bible reading, ministry reading, morning revival and prayer, with a timer, day streaks, optional goals and gentle reminders. The app remembers where you stopped reading. The Prayer tab holds your prayer books: what you are praying for, each time you prayed, and how the Lord answered. SHARE YOUR WEEK Turn a day, a week or a month into a newsletter, in one of ten styles, or into postcards. Send it to family by email, save it as a PDF, copy it for Substack, or paste it into Notes with the photos in place. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your journal, habits and prayer books are yours alone. Nobody in the club can see them. They sync privately through your own iCloud, and one file moves them to a new phone. ABOUT US Christian Students at Penn has been a registered student organization since the mid-1990s, and Christian Students at Temple since 2009.
