About WaterMeNow: Plant Care

WaterMeNow gives every plant its own watering day. One blanket reminder is why plants die. A fern in a small terracotta pot on a bright sill and a ZZ plant in a big plastic pot in a dim corner do not want water on the same schedule, and no single interval can be right for both. A SCHEDULE PER PLANT, NOT PER APP WaterMeNow works out each plant's interval from its species, its pot material and size, the light it stands in, whether it lives indoors or out, and the time of year. Change the pot and the schedule changes with it. TODAY'S CARE LIST Open the app and see exactly what needs water today, ranked by how overdue it is. Check plants off as you go. Nothing else competes for your attention. IT SHOWS ITS WORKING Every interval comes with the arithmetic behind it — the base for the species, and what the pot, the light and the season each did to it. You can argue with the number, and override it when you know better. THE SEASONS ARE BUILT IN Indoor plants slow down in winter; outdoor plants drink hardest in summer. WaterMeNow stretches and tightens every schedule as the year turns, with a hemisphere setting for growers south of the equator. There is no location tracking. IDENTIFY A PLANT FROM A PHOTOGRAPH Photograph a plant — one of yours, or one you are deciding about in a shop — and WaterMeNow names it and turns that name into an actual watering interval. It tells you how confident it is, offers alternatives when it is unsure, and says so plainly rather than guessing. Your photograph is never stored on a server. A LIBRARY OF 78 PLANTS Browse real photographs and care notes for 78 indoor and outdoor species, filter by where they grow, and add one to your collection in a tap. No account needed to look. ALSO IN THE APP - A daily reminder, at the hour you actually do your rounds - Misting, feeding and rotating alongside watering - Group plants by spot, and see which spot runs driest - Care history for every plant, and a care streak - Your own photographs, kept on your device - Light and dark, and a real Delete Account FREE, FOR EVERY PLANT Reminders, the daily care list, the watering engine, seasonal adjustment and checking plants off are free forever, for every plant you own. WATERMENOW PRO (optional subscription) Pro lifts the free plan's limits — 5 plants, 30 days of history, 3 photo identifications a month — and adds the longer-run readings: how far your actual watering drifts from each plant's schedule, how well each plant is being kept, and export of your whole care history. - Monthly $4.99 or Yearly $29.99, with a 14-day free trial when you're eligible - Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it any time in your App Store account settings.
