FIND A VOICE YOU LOVE Browse nine reciters: Maher Al-Muaiqly, Abdul Basit Abdul Samad, Muhammad Siddiq al-Minshawi, Yasser ad-Dussary, Hisham Al Haraz, Raad Muhammad Al-Kurdi, Omar Al-Kazabri, Noreen Muhammad Siddiq and Hazza Al-Balushi. Explore their available recordings and save favourites. LISTEN YOUR WAY Use playback speed, seeking, a listening queue, repeat, shuffle and a sleep timer. A mini-player keeps the controls close as you explore Nur. Add optional background sounds, including rain, birds, waves and wind, and adjust recitation and background volume separately. For supported recordings with verified timings, start from an ayah and follow the recitation with highlighted text. Other recordings offer full-Surah listening without verse synchronisation. The available Surahs and recitation editions vary by reciter; Nur's Quran reader uses Hafs text. Save available recitations for offline listening and manage them in Library. Quran.Foundation downloads remain valid for seven days before they need refreshing online. Streaming, new downloads and uncached word information need a connection. STUDY AT YOUR OWN PACE Understanding, Learning and Memorisation are optional: enable only the activities you want in Settings. Understanding brings a chosen ayah's translation, tafsir and private reflection together. Learning lets you practise word meanings and record how well you remember them. Memorisation offers passage repetition, pauses and text hints where verified recitation timings are available. Keep Nur open during memorisation practice; it does not listen to or assess your voice.
