About TasteKeep: Recipe Keeper

TasteKeep is a private recipe book for iPhone and iPad. Keep the recipes you already have, add new ones from a link, plan the week from them and shop once, with a list sorted by aisle. Today's meals and the shopping list sit on your Home Screen as widgets. No account, no subscription. KEEP YOUR RECIPES Grandma's notebook, cookbook favorites, screenshots and recipes from the web, in one book with photos and steps. Search by name or ingredient and the recipe is on screen in seconds. ADD A RECIPE FROM A LINK OR A NOTE Paste a link to a recipe page, or the text of a note, and TasteKeep fills in the title, photo, ingredients and steps. Check the recipe before saving, then cook from it. In Safari, tap Share and choose TasteKeep: the recipe lands in your book. MADE FOR iPHONE, iPAD AND iPHONE DUO On iPad the list stays beside the recipe. On iPhone Duo the layout follows the pose. The cover screen works like any iPhone. Opened flat, you get the list beside the recipe and the photo beside the steps. In the book pose the photo sits on one side and the steps on the other. In the laptop pose the step stays above the fold, with the timer and the buttons below it. PLAN THE WEEK Pick breakfast, lunch and dinner for the days ahead in minutes. Save a week you liked as a template and bring it back. SHOP IN ONE TRIP Turn a recipe or the whole week into a shopping list, sorted by aisle and scaled to the people at your table. Share the list with whoever is going to the store. TODAY'S MEALS ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Two widgets: Today's Meals shows what to cook now and the rest of the day's plan, and Shopping List lets you check off items without opening the app. A Control Center button opens the list with one tap. On iPad, the largest widget shows tomorrow too. COOK WITH THE PHONE LOCKED One step at a time in large type, with a timer for each step. The timer stays on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so your hands stay in the dough. When time is up, it rings like an alarm, even on silent (iOS 26 and later). YOURS ALONE No account and no ads. Apple's privacy label for TasteKeep reads "Data Not Collected". Recipes stay on your device and sync between your iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud, for free. TASTEKEEP PRO Pro unlocks the weekly planner, shopping lists built from recipes and plans, separate lists you can share, and the Home Screen widgets with a Sunday reminder to plan the week. Pay once and it stays yours. No subscription.

What’s new

Version 1.3.0 · Updated October 22, 2026

Widgets for your Home Screen. Today’s Meals shows what to cook now and the rest of the day’s plan. In Shopping List you check off items in the widget itself, and a Control Center button opens the list with one tap. Widgets come with TasteKeep Pro, together with a Sunday reminder to plan the week. Step timers now ring like an alarm, even when your iPhone is on silent (iOS 26 or later). Touch and hold a recipe card to add it to the plan or share it. Finish cooking, and the recipe page keeps count of how many times you’ve made it. Plus fixes and small improvements.
