This release answers a question Milduna never asked: what if you already know part of the course? Until now everyone started at lesson 1, and every lesson had to be completed in order before the next one opened. Someone who already knew four hundred words had to redo twelve lessons they knew by heart before reaching the thirteenth. The placement test takes care of that. Thirty words at most, and it drops you straight into the right lesson. It does not pick thirty words at random: it works in steps of three, climbs as long as you keep up, then comes back down to find exactly where your recognition stops, and ends with four words of verification. A real beginner is out in nine questions, with no score shown. Someone who knows the first thirteen lessons gets there in twenty-two. Each card tells you right away whether you were right, and shows the answer you were looking for when you missed it. The romanisation can be turned on inside the test, with the same ABC button as everywhere else. You will find it in three places: on the very first launch, in the Lessons tab while you are still near the start of the course, and in your Account, where the row always says where you stand. One attempt a day. Two things it never does. It never moves you backwards: a lesson you have opened stays open, and a second test that lands lower than your placement changes nothing. And it never marks a word as learnt on your behalf: skipped lessons become "placed", never "completed". Your progress therefore starts from where you really are, and it will climb fast. Also fixed: three pieces of text were breaking mid-word on some screens. The home greeting now keeps its label on one line and the rest on the next, grammar rule titles no longer split from their brackets or their numbers, and the Library intros fit on a small screen.
