About SharedNapkin
Draw it, right now, with someone standing next to you — no Wi-Fi, no account, no server. Just two phones and a shared canvas. WHAT IT DOES • Start a sketch and invite someone nearby — your strokes appear on their screen live, and theirs on yours • Full Apple Pencil support: pressure, tilt, undo, the system tool picker • On-device handwriting recognition turns a scribbled note into real text — nothing leaves your phone • Every sketch is saved so you can find it again • Export a sketch's image and recognized text anywhere No ads. No tracking. No account required.
What’s new
Version 1.1 · Updated October 2, 2026
A reliability update for drawing together. DRAWING TOGETHER • Erase and undo now reach everyone you're sharing with, and erased lines stay gone. • Strokes no longer go missing when two people draw at the same moment. • Everyone sees the same picture, layered the same way, on every phone. • If the connection drops and comes back, the other person catches up on what they missed. • Still connects with people on the previous version. PHOTOS AND IMAGES • Cropping a reference photo no longer interrupts a shared sketch. • "Crop Photo" now opens every time. • Large, high-resolution photos now import reliably. • Ink shows in its true color on the page, in saved sketches, and when shared, and shared images now have a clean white background. EVERYDAY POLISH • "Invite Nearby" opens every time, not just the first. • The pen and color palette comes back after saving or renaming. • "Clear All" asks first, since it clears the sketch for everyone. • Long names no longer cause a crash. • Saved sketches are stored right away and credit everyone who drew in them.
