About Adagia: Quotes & Wisdom

Four hundred quotes, each one carried into English, Croatian and German. Open the app, swipe up, and the next thought is already waiting. Adagia is a quiet place for words worth keeping. No feed of other people's lives, no counters, no noise — one quote filling the screen, for as long as you want to sit with it. WHAT ADAGIA DOES • Full-screen feed — one quote at a time, one swipe to the next. • Twenty topics — wisdom, love, courage, patience, motivation, philosophy, friendship, hope and more. • Search — by the words of a quote or by the name of its author. • Favorites — tap the heart and the quote stays with you. • Collections — build your own lists, like "Morning" or "For hard days", and rename them whenever you like. • Customization — two interface looks (amber and blue), background colors, three font families and a slider for text size. • Save as image — turn any quote into a picture in your photo library. • Reminders — choose how many a day and between which hours; the quote arrives as a notification on your device. • Widgets — a quote on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, in small and medium sizes. ⌚ Apple Watch — a companion app plus watch face complications, and you can favorite a quote straight from your wrist. • Three languages — English, Croatian and German, both the interface and the quotes themselves. • Suggest a quote — send one in for review. • No account needed — the app works right away; signing in is optional. The widget and the watch keep a batch of quotes on the device, so they keep rotating even with no connection. THE VOICES Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, Confucius, Lao Tzu, Goethe, Nietzsche, Shakespeare, Emerson, Thoreau, Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, Buddha and Aristotle — alongside Croatian folk proverbs. More than a hundred authors, and every quote is attributed to the person who said it. WHO IT'S FOR For people who like to begin the day with one sentence. For people who copy lines into notebooks. For anyone hunting for the right words for a card, a toast or a post. And for language learners who enjoy seeing the same thought in two languages side by side. NO ADS Adagia is free and supported by ads. If you would rather not see them, there is a one-time "Remove ads" purchase — pay once and the ads are gone. No subscription, nothing to renew.
