About Memento Life

How many years have you been saying "someday"? Memento is where someday becomes a date — write it down, go do it, and keep what it felt like. Life is made of memories. Most of us are too busy surviving to make them. Memento is a life list for the things you keep postponing — the trip you talk about every year, the person you mean to call, the small brave things you never get around to. YOUR LIFE, LAID OUT See your life as a calendar of weeks and five-year spans. It is a gentle reminder that time is finite — not to alarm you, but to help you decide what actually belongs in it. LISTS THAT MATCH HOW YOU THINK File each wish under "this year", an age span, "someday", or "in my lifetime". No projects, no productivity guilt — just the things you don't want to leave undone. CELEBRATE, THEN REMEMBER When you complete something, Memento celebrates with you, then asks a few quiet questions: How was it? What did you feel? Add photos and a date, and it becomes a memory you can return to. A LIFE IN PICTURES Everything you've done gathers in a photo grid, year by year. Scroll back and see the life you've actually lived. STORIES TO NUDGE YOU A small daily feed of real, human things other people finally did — big acts and everyday ones — to remind you it's never too late. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No sign-up. Your lists, reflections, and photos live on your device, and the app works fully offline. What you dream about is nobody's business but yours. In English and Japanese. Memento mori — remember you must die. Memento — remember to live.

What’s new

Version 1.1.0 · Updated September 17, 2026

- Pick up where you left off: close the app mid-onboarding and it reopens on the same step, with everything you typed. - Reminders: after you plan your first step, Memento can nudge you about it two days later, and check in briefly on Sunday evenings. Optional, local to your phone, off by default. Toggle in Profile. - Memories you already made: in the add sheet, switch on "I've already done this", pick the date, and it goes straight into My Life. Also from a story: "I did this". - Small fixes and polish.
