Visual Noise Alert

See when the room gets too loud. Visual Noise Alert monitors ambient noise and makes it visible through a scene built from small blocks. A lighthouse, a palace, a garden: while the room stays calm, the scene stays still. When sound crosses your thresholds, it shakes, sheds fragments or takes impacts. Keep your iPhone or iPad in view while you study, work, maintain a quiet classroom or watch over the sound level in a library. A VISUAL NOISE MONITOR FOR YOUR ROOM Choose a scene, adjust the sensitivity and turn on the microphone. The level gauge and the scene respond to changes in sound. Three sensitivity levels and fine controls help you adapt the response to your surroundings. FOUR WAYS TO SEE SOUND • Moderate — Normal: shakes, fragments and comets as noise rises. • Moderate — Erosion: a wave of light travels up the scene as blocks gradually come away. • Reactive — Confetti: everything reacts right away, in bursts of small coloured blocks. • Reactive — Meteor: falling meteors that follow the noise level. Sustained noise also builds up over time. A rise past the critical threshold costs a heart; after five hearts, the scene gives way. Returning to quiet stops the continuous reactions. KEEP TRACK OF QUIET SESSIONS When you stop listening, see your session duration, percentage of quiet time, longest quiet stretch, threshold crossings, average sound level and how much of the scene stayed standing. Your history keeps the sessions and the scenes you moved through. READY-MADE AMBIANCES WITH PRO • Concentration: a fixed view from above, restrained reactions and daylight that changes through the session. • Relax: gentle erosion, a slow camera tour and a night sky where noise brings clouds and rain. • Shh!: reactions visible from a distance, a “shh” backdrop, a listening countdown and a touch lock. • Show: no microphone, just watch. Each scene colours in block by block, then comes apart in a staged finale, for 2 to 15 minutes. • Freeform: your own settings and a playlist to compose. YOUR SCENE PLAYLISTS With Pro, each ambiance keeps its own playlist. Add scenes, arrange their order and choose whether to repeat. When one scene gives way, the next takes over. Freeform lets you run a playlist while keeping your own settings. MAKE THE VIEW YOURS Choose one to four fixed views, a view from above or a cinematic tour. Focus mode hides the controls. Adjust vibrations, camera shakes and flashes, or turn on energy saving. Pro adds more backgrounds and the option to use your own photo. The optional Pro “Catch the culprit” feature uses the front camera to take a photo when noise crosses a threshold. You turn it on yourself and grant camera permission. Photos stay on your device and appear with the session. FREE AND PRO The free version includes 2 scenes, all 4 effects, sensitivity controls, camera views and session history, with 15 minutes of microphone listening per day. Only active listening uses this allowance. Pro is a one-time purchase: unlimited listening, all 22 scenes, ambiances, playlists, additional backgrounds and optional photos. The microphone measures live sound levels. No audio is recorded or sent anywhere, and no account is required. If the microphone is unavailable, a demo lets you explore the scene's reactions.
