About Mildio

Eating out in Korea is a joy — until you are watching your sodium. Mildio scores restaurants near you from 0 to 100, so you can tell at a glance which ones are likely to go easy on salt, sugar and fat. HOW THE SCORE WORKS Mildio reads the menu a restaurant has registered, looks each dish up in the Korean government's food nutrition database, and compares it with what is reasonable to eat in one meal. Five nutrients count: sodium, saturated fat, cholesterol, sugars and calories. 75 and above is Light, 55 and above is Fair, below that is Watch. TUNED TO YOU Tell Mildio if you are managing high blood pressure, diabetes or a kidney condition, and the weighting changes — sodium counts for more with one, sugars with another. Choose several and Mildio shows you the lowest of the scores, never the flattering one. FOR YOUR TRIP · Find restaurants around you, or move the map and search anywhere in Korea · Attractions and festivals nearby, with the restaurants within walking distance · Accessibility details — step-free entrances, wheelchair rental, restrooms — shown exactly as the tourism data reports them · A vegetarian layer for Seoul, drawn from the city's own survey PRIVATE BY DESIGN There is no account and no server. Your name, birthday, health profile and favorites stay on this device and are never sent anywhere. Location is used only to show what is around you, and we send a rounded, approximate coordinate to the public data services — never your exact position. WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM Korea Tourism Organization (TourAPI) · Ministry of Food and Drug Safety food nutrition database · Small Enterprise and Market Service business registry · Seoul Open Data Plaza · Korea Meteorological Administration GOOD TO KNOW Scores are estimated from registered menu names, so they can differ from the dish in front of you depending on the recipe, seasoning and portion size. Mildio is not medical advice — please talk to a medical professional about treatment or managing your diet. Restaurant and attraction details come from public tourism data and can lag behind what has changed at a venue. Place names, addresses and menus appear in Korean, as they are published.
