About Pet Widget: Island Pal

A tiny pixel pet lives at the top of your screen, in the Island. Press and hold to feed it or play with it, then get on with your day — it stays up there, gets hungry on its own, and curls up asleep when your screen dims. It's a virtual pet that lives up there instead of in an app you have to remember to open. TEN PIXEL PALS An Ember Fox that naps and denies it. An Alley Raccoon that washes its food and concedes the food is still bad. A Hollow Reaper whose bond is counted in soul flames instead of hearts, and who mainly wants you to know it isn't here for you yet. A Leaf Sprout that has grown 1mm and would like this acknowledged. Also a Frost Dragon, a Tide Axolotl, a Snow Rabbit, a Magma Golem, a Dusk Shroom and a Shadow Ninja. Each has its own short things to say, and says them in the expanded Island. TWO THINGS YOU CAN DO Feed and Play. That is the whole game. Press and hold the Island and it opens into a panel with both buttons, a row of hearts, and a hunger and an energy meter. Play, and the pal throws something and goes after it across the pill — the ninja a shuriken, the fox a leaf, the sprout a seed that spins away on the wind. Every pal throws something different. IT KEEPS TIME WITHOUT YOU Hunger fills over about six hours and energy drains over about ten, on the clock, whether the app is open or not. When your screen dims — or Always-On takes over — the pal curls up and sleeps. That happens by itself as well. Nothing of ours has to be running for either. TWELVE HOME SCREEN WIDGETS Eight clocks, three weather, and one small console you can feed and play from without opening anything. Each one takes whichever pal you choose, and the weather widgets use your location to show local conditions. On the Lock Screen the pal appears in its scene as a Live Activity — not a widget, so there is nothing to add. TWELVE SCENES Classic Day, Rolling Meadow, Pine Dusk, Palm Beach, Sunset Bay, Pipe Plains, Floating Isle, Low Orbit, Cloud White, Warm Sand, Charcoal Night and Party Mint. Move your pal whenever you like. NO NOTIFICATIONS. NO STREAKS. The app sends nothing at all. There is no daily target, no counter to keep alive, and no pal that gets upset because you were busy. Leave it a week and it will be hungry, not hurt. PRICING A monthly or yearly subscription — the price is shown before you buy. It renews until you cancel in Settings. There is no free tier and no one-time purchase. Everything is included. REQUIRES iPhone only, iOS 26.2 or later. The Island panel requires an iPhone with a Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro or later); the Home Screen widgets and the Lock Screen work on any supported iPhone.
