First: Seek Before You Scroll

Seek before you scroll. Choose the apps that usually win your morning. First holds them while you read Scripture at an unhurried pace. When the reading ends, the choice is yours: leave the apps closed, or go on with your day. If the apps never open, the morning still happened. Leave them closed for an hour and a flower opens in your garden. Every flower is worth the same. Nothing is counted, ranked, capped, or sold. You can go on with your day whenever you choose. An optional prayer keeps the passage in view before that choice. Highlight a verse, write a note, or return to your saved passages. A quiet breathing pause and optional ambient sound can help you settle in; silence is always an option.
