How much do you trust your football knowledge? GolGrid brings daily puzzles, guessing games and real-time online duels together in one football quiz game. DAILY GRID Solve the same 3x3 puzzle everyone else gets that day. Find the players who match the criteria where each row and column meet, and fill all 9 cells. The clock is running and every wrong answer costs you points — check where you landed on the global leaderboard at the end of the day! DAILY PLAYER GUESS A very well-known player every day. Your clue: the last 3 clubs of their career, with the current one on top. Work out who it is in 3 guesses! Wrong guesses unlock new clues. WHO IS IT? Crack the mystery player by asking questions: you get 10 questions and 3 guesses. Every correct answer grows your streak — how far can you take it? FREE GRID Unlimited practice mode with a brand new puzzle every time. Get all 9 cells right to win. TIC-TAC-TOE DUEL A correct answer claims the cell; a wrong one hands the turn to your opponent. First to complete a line of three wins. Play against a smart bot or pass the phone to a friend! ONLINE MATCHES Invite a friend with a code or get matched with a random opponent. 30 seconds per move — think, remember, claim! Moves sync instantly. CUP RANKINGS Online matches and duels award cups: win them when you win, hand them over when you lose. GolGrid 1.28 Monthly cup seasons The online modes now have a new race every month. On the 1st of each month everyone's season cups restart from 0, and matches against bots count too. On the cups screen you can switch between this month's season and "All Time", and see how many days are left. The cup badge on the home screen shows this month's cups. The standings screen was redesigned too: a season card on top, the top three on a podium, and your own rank pinned at the bottom. The cups you have collected since you started are kept, and matchmaking still uses them. Season rewards The top 3 of a season carry a medal in the standings and next to their name for the whole following month, and the top 100 get a gold ring around their avatar. The "My Seasons" section on your profile shows where you finished each season. Finish a season with at least 100 cups and your wins earn double season cups in your first 10 matches of the next one. Board choice in friend rooms When you play a friend, you choose the board: Easy, Medium, Hard or a single league (Süper Lig, Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1). The choice travels with the invite, and rematches use the same board. Fair play During an online match, leaving the app, splitting the screen or opening another app on top of it counts as a forfeit after a few seconds, and your opponent sees it right away. Screenshots are also blocked while a match is in progress. Richer, more accurate data More than 600 new players were added and squads were updated. Every World Cup, European Championship and Champions League winning squad since 1988, plus earlier legends such as Pelé, Beckenbauer, Platini and Gerd Müller, now have the right trophies. Over ten thousand players with a missing nationality now have one. Clubs that appeared under two names were merged, and athletes from other sports were removed. Hundreds of players got a photo. Search and Who Is Famous players now come first in player search. Team search in Who Is gives a single, correct result, and the players you are asked about now cover younger ages too. Small additions and fixes The Daily Grid now requires signing in, so every score reaches the leaderboard and your streak is kept. Free Grid can still be played without an account. The feedback screen has a new "New mode idea" type. Matches played with an invite code now tell you on the result screen that they do not award cups. Several crashes were fixed.
