About Stavebook

Stavebook is a quiet place for music teachers to keep their studio: who they teach, when the lessons are, and what they asked each student to practice. Plan one-time or recurring lessons, then keep the real teaching record on the date it happened. Capture preparation notes, lesson notes, attendance, makeups, and practice assignments without losing the history when a schedule changes. Everything a teacher records stays theirs: • Keep a private roster, student notes, study tracks, milestones, repertoire progress, and qualitative musicianship observations. • Schedule lessons, terms, breaks, recitals, exams, holidays, and studio time in a focused calendar. • Build a repertoire library and start from an included catalog of common repertoire; assignments are copied into the dated journal so history stays intact. • Reuse lesson-plan routines, carry unfinished practice forward, and search your lesson journal. • Track books, scores, and instruments you lend, including due dates and loan history. • Export a student summary PDF, roster CSV, mileage and expense CSV, and a complete studio backup. Restore is built in. • See your next lesson on the Home Screen, use read-only Siri and Shortcuts actions, and find students with Spotlight. Stavebook uses your private iCloud database to keep your studio in sync across your own devices. There is no Stavebook account, no student app, no server, no analytics, and no advertising. Students never sign in and Stavebook never contacts them. Stavebook is free for up to five active or paused students, including lessons, the journal, repertoire, lesson plans, studio events, lending, expenses, backup, and sync. Stavebook Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription with monthly and yearly plans. It adds unlimited students, Lesson Preparation, Weekly Studio Review, Makeup Ledger, Lessons & Hours, and Export to Calendar. Both plans include a 14-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Prices vary by region and are shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account after the trial, if offered, ends. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. What’s new

Version 1.1 · Updated October 28, 2026

Stavebook now supports iPhone Duo, and adapts to the space you give it. • iPhone Duo, iPad, and resizable windows: the week timetable shows as many days as fit, and shows the whole week when there is room. • Students keeps the roster beside the student on wider screens, and collapses to a simple list on a phone. • Unfolding or resizing no longer loses the screen you were reading, your scroll position, or student notes you were typing. • Empty states and messages now stay clear of the fold when iPhone Duo is held half open. • The Backup screen lays out its studio summary in columns on wider screens and stays readable at the largest text sizes.
