About Unbought - No-Buy Tracker

Unbought is an app for recording the things you didn't buy. You almost added it to your cart — then put it back. Nobody applauds that moment, and it just disappears. Unbought keeps it, one pass at a time. Jot down the name and the price. Ten seconds, done. [The satisfaction of buying, without buying] Save a pass and a little "Passed on it" stamp lands with a pop. Instead of a shopping cart, your list of passes grows. Read it back later and you'll notice the wanting has quietly gone. [Not willpower — money reclaimed] The amounts you pass on don't count as "savings" or "self-denial." They add up as money you took back. The journey screen quietly shows your running total and how it changes month to month. No lectures. No guilt about the days you did buy. [Light enough for ten seconds] Only the name is required. Price and note are optional. A quick word about why you passed makes it satisfying to read back. [Thirty days later: Still want it?] Thirty days after a pass, Look Back asks one question, one item at a time: Still want it? Answer with one of two stamps: "Over it" or "Still want it." You can change it later, or tap "Later." If you still wanted it after the wait and bought it, tap "I got it." It's stamped "Worth the wait" with the number of days you waited, and it moves to its own list, apart from your passes. No judgment about buying. Your own record shows the wait was worth it. [Pricing] Every record is saved, even on the free plan. Free shows your latest 30 passes and latest 5 Worth the Wait items, and Look Back and its stamps work within those 30 passes. Recording, editing, deleting, "I got it," and importing backups are always free. A one-time Premium purchase (no subscription) opens every pass and every Worth the Wait item, lets Look Back cover them all, and unlocks the journey screen (running total, monthly charts, and sorting breakdown) and JSON export. [Privacy] Unbought never connects to the internet (except for purchases). No account, no developer server, no ads — your records live only on your device. Importing a JSON backup stays free, so your records survive a phone upgrade. This is not a budgeting app. No budgets, no bank links, no investment advice. It just quietly counts the things you didn't buy. Why not start with today's pass?
