About Kaname: Japanese Grammar

Japanese grammar from N5 to N1. Kaname checks whether you can use a pattern, not whether you remember the rule. FOUR SCORES PER PATTERN • Recognition – what it adds to a sentence • Cloze – the right form in a gap • Contrast – telling it apart from a similar one • Production – your own sentence, unprompted Each session goes where you are weakest. CONTRAST PAIRS なら or たら? はず or わけ? Two similar patterns in one situation, and why only one fits. SPACED REVIEW From 4 hours to 180 days, based on your results. “Mastered” needs every score plus three successful reviews over at least three weeks. A new level opens once the previous one is in review. SCAN AND YOUR OWN SENTENCES Photograph a sentence from a manga or textbook. Your phone reads the text; the photo goes nowhere. A saved sentence comes back in reviews as your own example. AI ANALYSIS (OPTIONAL) Write a sentence and the model tells you what is off and why. It also spots patterns in pasted text. Without AI the app works the same. FREE All of N5 with every exercise type. No limits, no ads. A few AI analyses a month. TO BUY N4–N1 one by one, in bundles or all at once: one purchase, forever, no account. Earlier Premium buyers have N2 and N1. AI analysis: PLN 14.99 a month or PLN 119.99 a year, auto-renewing, cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. PRIVACY No account, ads or tracking. Progress stays on your phone and study works offline. AI sends the pattern and your sentence only when you request it. Optional usage statistics require consent: session types, learning stage and approximate counts, without identifiers or content. Withdraw consent in Settings. Explanations and example sentences were written for this app. Kaname (要) is the rivet holding a folding fan together; figuratively, “the crux”. By the same author: Bunmyaku, Katsuyokei, Joshi, Kazoekata, Kuzushi, Keigo, Onomatope, Kifuku and Shindan.
