About Pin Pilot
Pin Pilot — Field Service CRM for Contractors & Service Pros Pin Pilot helps solo contractors, field sales reps, and service professionals track every client, job, and dollar — all from one map-based app built for people who work on the go. DROP A PIN, TRACK THE CLIENT: Add a client right from the map or manually, with notes, voice memos, photos, and custom status tags (Hot Lead, Active Client, Follow Up, and more). Use Scan/Upload Info to pull contact and job details straight from a business card or a screenshot from Thumbtack, TaskRabbit, or similar platforms. INVOICES & QUOTES, DONE RIGHT: Create quotes and invoices per client, track them from "Draft" to "Sent" to "Paid", and share them with clients through a secure portal link — no app or account required on their end. Clients can approve, request changes, or leave a note, and you'll see their response the moment it happens. GET PAID FOR YOUR TIME: Track billable hours with the built-in Hourly Timer, attach job photos, set your rate, and mark sessions Paid or Unpaid. Log mileage for every trip and export CSV or PDF reports at tax time. SEE YOUR REVENUE, CLEARLY: A real-time Revenue dashboard breaks down what you've earned by Week, Month, or Year — and by service category — pulling from paid invoices, tracked hours, and completed jobs automatically. STAY ON SCHEDULE: Calendar view auto-fills with completed jobs, timer sessions, and invoice/quote activity, so you always know what happened and when — no manual logging required. WORK SMARTER WITH AI: Use the AI Assistant to search, schedule, and manage clients with your voice, and let Scan/Upload Info do your data entry for you. Built for people who work in the field, not behind a desk — landscapers, cleaners, handymen, contractors, and independent service pros of every kind. Free to start. Upgrade to Pro or Premium for unlimited saves, invoicing, the client portal, hourly time tracking, mileage tracking, and AI-powered tools. What’s new
Version 1.0.7 · Updated October 21, 2026
What's new in Pin Pilot 1.0.7 FIXES • New pins now appear on the map instantly. Dropping a pin or adding a pin with an address shows it on the map right away, and it stays there on every device. • Fixed a blank white screen that could appear after deleting a pin. You're now taken straight back, and the pin is removed cleanly. • "Jobs this month" on the Calendar is now accurate. It counts every job once: scheduled jobs, completed jobs, hourly timer sessions and invoices, paid or unpaid. NEW LOOK • A fresh "Midnight Glow" design on Pin Details, the Pins tab and your Profile, with a matching deep-blue look in light mode. • The Pins tab now groups your clients by city in clean glowing panels. Filters keep everything neatly grouped. • The Completed section on each pin now shows All, Tasks, Hourly and Invoices side by side, with no swiping. • New glossy buttons for View Full Stats and Drive There (Premium). CALENDAR • New "+ Schedule" button at the top of the Calendar. • Tap any day and use "Schedule on [that day]" to book a job right onto it. • After you mark a scheduled job done, add the job total and mark it Paid or Unpaid in one step. INVOICES & QUOTES (Pro and Premium) • A new Invoices & Quotes section on your Profile: see Unpaid, Paid, Quotes out and Drafts at a glance. • Filter by Invoices or Quotes and by status, with one tap. • "Needs you" shows what's unpaid, overdue, waiting for approval or still a draft. • Remind a client or send a draft in seconds by Text, Email or a copied message, with a ready-made Friendly, Firm or Final notice message you can edit. • Every reminder is saved to that invoice's history. TEMPLATES (Premium) • Create invoice and quote templates in Settings > Create Templates. • Get template ideas for each of your tags. Tap the refresh button for more, then use or edit them. • Bill any client in seconds with "Quick bill from a template" on their pin. • Save any invoice or quote you've already made as a template. • Pin Pilot never fills in prices or tax for you. You stay in control. MORE IMPROVEMENTS • Choose to color map pins by Pin Status or by Tag in Settings > Customization. • A clearer Hourly Rates card that shows how it works: Time × Your rate = Job total. • An updated, easier-to-read plan list. • General speed and reliability improvements.
