Vocabulary Flashcards - PUUF

PUUF - flashcards for learning German and English that make the words stick. Learn new words, review the ones you know, get the grammar straight - a few minutes a day. TWO LANGUAGES - German: 3000+ words from A1 to B1. Every article is color-coded from the very first card, because a German noun learned without der, die or das is only half learned. Each card also has the plural, a transcription and an example. - English: 3000+ words from A1 to B2, with British transcription and an example for every word. Translations come in Ukrainian, Russian, English, German, French and Polish. Switch languages anytime - each keeps its own progress and its own rewards. START AT YOUR LEVEL A one-minute test shows what you already know, and PUUF starts at your level instead of at "hello". Already know your level? Just pick it. HEAR HOW IT SOUNDS Tap the speaker on the card to hear the word. Press and hold, and PUUF says it slower. Works without internet. A WORD ALWAYS IN SIGHT - Widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen. Tap the puppy for a new word, without opening the app - A new word every morning WHAT'S INSIDE - 17 topics: basics, work, travel, food, home, family, nature, emotions and more - When a word appears in a different form in the example, a note explains which rule is at work - Cheat sheets show up the first time a piece of grammar does - one tap, right above the card - Grammar lessons: 13 for German and 15 for English - Review that goes through everything you've learned and puts the words you miss most up front NO ACCOUNT, NO WAITING No sign-up. Everything lives on your phone and works offline - on a plane, in the subway, anywhere. Progress is saved to your iCloud: switch phones and what you've learned comes with you. FREE AND SUPER PUUF Free: 3000+ German words, 2800+ English ones and the first three grammar lessons in each language. Super PUUF removes ads, unlocks the rest of the lessons and adds more verbs: 186 German and 337 English. And the widget shows up to 10 words a day instead of 5, and can review the words you've already learned.
