Point of Action

Doctrine doesn’t have to be boring. Point of Action turns Marine Corps doctrine into tactical training you’ll actually want to use. Created by LostLt1775, the app takes the publications sitting on your hard drive, bookshelf, or reading list and puts the important parts at your fingertips — then gives you a reason to actually learn them. LEARN Cut through hundreds of pages of doctrine and focus on what matters, why it matters, and how it affects the fight. PRACTICE Reinforce the concepts through quick, interactive drills built for repetition and retention — not endless multiple-choice tests. DECIDE Put doctrine to work through tactical decision games and Quick Decisions. Read the situation, make the call, adapt when conditions change, and think through the risk and tradeoffs behind your decision. TEACH Turn what you know into training for your Marines. Hip Pocket Classes give you the content, whiteboards, questions, and instructor gameplan to teach the people around you. Run Class mode walks you through the lesson one step at a time, then lets your Marines scan a QR code to complete the Knowledge Check. WORK-UP Train progressively from individual skills through fire team, squad, platoon, company, and battalion-level material. AMC PREP Prepare for the Advanced Mortarmen Course with focused training on mortar fundamentals, RSOP and occupation, fire direction, survivability, gunner’s exam preparation, and plotting-board fundamentals. ACRONYMS & DEFINITIONS Search a large offline reference library of Marine Corps acronyms, terms, and definitions without needing an internet connection. WEAPONS QUICK CARDS Keep important weapon characteristics, rates of fire, ranges, and other reference information close at hand — with built-in practice to help you actually memorize it. TELL ME WHAT TO TRAIN Pick how much time you have and get a focused training recommendation built from Learn, Practice, Decide, and Teach. COMBAT OUTPOST Training progress feeds into a persistent tactical defense game where you defend your position, unlock capabilities, improve your outpost, and keep progressing. Point of Action also includes PFT and CFT scoring tools with event feedback and improvement plans, plus optional training reminders, weekly prompts, and Daily Reflection. Stop doom scrolling. Learn something. Whether you have five minutes in the barracks, twenty minutes before formation, or need a class for your Marines tomorrow, Point of Action puts tactical training at your fingertips.
