About Drachma: Offline Budget App

Money is easier to face when the app on the other side is kind about it. Drachma is a private budget app for people who would rather log their own spending than hand a bank login to a stranger. No account, no bank connection, no cloud, no ads. Everything you enter stays encrypted on your iPhone or iPad. Log an expense in about three seconds Tap the +, type the amount, done. The keypad does the math (12.40 + 3.60 just works), names finish themselves as you type, and the things you buy most sit one tap away. Logging something late? Change its date and time. Scan a receipt, import a statement Point the camera at a receipt and Drachma reads the shop, the total, the date and the line items, then lets you check it all before saving. Catching up on a month? Import a bank or card statement as a PDF, CSV or spreadsheet. Anything you already logged is spotted, not doubled, and when something is unclear, Drachma asks instead of guessing. Subscriptions and installments, found for you Drachma spots the subscriptions and installment plans already in your entries: what they cost a month and a year, which one got more expensive, how much is left on each plan, and any charge after you cancelled. When a subscription goes quiet, it asks: "Still paying?" Budgets that flex Give each category a monthly envelope, or budget anything: one shop, one brand, the desserts. Keep a buffer for the rest. When an envelope runs over, Drachma offers to cover it from the buffer instead of telling you off, and unspent money can roll into next month. Not sure where to start? Build a plan from your own spending. Savings goals you can watch fill up Set a target and a date. Drachma shows what you need each month and an honest projection of when you will get there. Add money any time, set a monthly earmark, sweep leftover buffer in at month end, or let round-ups fill it quietly. See where it actually goes Insights goes all the way down to the item: what eats the month, what you buy most, what you have quietly started spending more on, and how this month compares with your usual. Tidy names merges different spellings of the same shop or item, and your own tags group what you buy. A monthly wrap sums it all up in plain words. Habits, gently A logging streak, levels and achievements that celebrate the wins and never punish a missed day. A paused streak heals. Free, with Plus if you want more Logging is free and unlimited, always. Free also gives you a starter allowance of scans and imports, 5 budget envelopes, 2 goals at a time and 3 tracked subscriptions. Drachma Plus, an optional subscription, lifts those limits and adds the deeper reads: trends, a monthly health check, a look inside your biggest baskets, what is committed in the months ahead and what your commitments add up to over a year. Private by design • No account, no email, no bank connection, ever • Works with no signal • Encrypted on your device; back up to a file with your own passphrase, or export to CSV • Anonymous crash reports and usage stats help us fix bugs. They never include your amounts, shops or categories, and you can switch them off in Settings • Light, dark and true-black themes, any currency, 8 languages Made for cash spenders, freelancers with uneven months, and anyone who has felt judged by a budget app before. Nothing logged yet? It takes about three seconds. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://trydrachma.com/privacy

What’s new

Version 1.7.17 · Updated October 16, 2026

Subscriptions and installments, found for you • Drachma spots the subscriptions in your entries and imports, shows what each costs a month and a year, and flags a price that went up or a charge after you cancelled. • When a subscription goes quiet, it asks “Still paying?” instead of guessing. • Installment plans from your card statements get their own space: how much is left, and when each one ends. • Insights cards sum up your month. With Plus: what is committed in the months ahead, and what your commitments add up to over a year. • Import review points out the rows worth a look and suggests combining duplicates. New in this update • Brazilian card bills import: Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco and Caixa, installments included. • While you review an import, add a row to a subscription or an installment plan, and name a new plan on the spot. • “See what counted” lists only the lines a budget counted, with their total. • Before you change the day your month starts, Drachma shows the new dates and what your budgets carry over. • The About page shows your version, how many entries you keep on this device and a support code, with quick ways to share Drachma or send feedback. • Very long amounts shorten to fit instead of being cut off. Fixed • “On pace” in Insights no longer counts a bill twice when it lands a day early or late. • A very large amount could stop the app from opening. Not anymore. • Receipt photos and statement files stay with their entries across app updates. • The back arrow on Terms and Privacy returns to the previous page first. • A quick second tap on Save no longer saves an entry twice. • Leaving an import review asks before it discards anything. • Notification switches ask your phone for permission, and Settings tells you when notifications are off. • Installment charts name each bar by its date when your month doesn’t start on the 1st. • Home’s “Spending vs. income” row waits until income is logged. • A tag you create during an import shows on the next rows too.
