About Dignity Access

Everyone deserves a private, safe place to go. Dignity Access maps lockable, single-occupancy, accessible, and family restrooms across the US, Canada, and Australia, with more countries being mapped now — the kind of private spaces where you can manage medical supplies, protective garments, an ostomy, or care for a loved one with real privacy and dignity. Built for people who plan their day around where they can go: those managing incontinence, ostomies, Crohn's, IBS, colitis, and other medical needs; people with mobility, wheelchair, and accessibility needs; and the caregivers who support them. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Over 1.1 million restroom locations already mapped across the US, Canada, and Australia. - Set a private profile for your needs, and the map responds to you: single-occupancy, enclosed sink, wheelchair access, secure lock, a flat changing workspace (for garment changes and ostomy care), flat-threshold entry, showers, adult and universal changing tables, power-chair access, and truck parking. - Mark that you carry an accessible-toilet key (MLAK in Australia, RADAR in the UK, Eurokey in Europe) and the map tells you which locked restrooms you can open. - One-tap emergency routing to the nearest option when it can't wait. - Built-in navigation, plus a discreet mode for when you'd rather your screen not announce what you're looking for. HONEST BY DESIGN Dignity Access is honest about what it knows. Every restroom shows a confidence level based on community reports — so you're never sent somewhere on a guess dressed up as a promise: - Blue — on the map, not yet community-confirmed. Every restroom starts here. - Purple — a community member confirmed on-site that this is a private, single-occupancy restroom. A small number instead come from a public source that states the room type outright; those show outlined until someone confirms them. - Green — "Confirmed for you": single-occupancy is confirmed AND every need in your profile has been community-confirmed here. Green is personal to your needs. - Slate — emergency-only, for when you just need the nearest option. We never claim a restroom is verified when it isn't. Community members confirm the details that matter to them, and you can too — adding locations and confirming details is free, no subscription required. YOUR PRIVACY - Your medical profile and your location stay on your device. - No account, no email required, no tracking, no ads. - We can't see where you go. The core app is free. Dignity Pass — an optional subscription ($2/month or $20/year) — adds Social Discretion Mode, offline map access, community hours editing, a map category filter, and gives your community confirmations more weight, while helping fund mapping and expansion to more countries. Dignity Access is a mapping and information tool. It does not provide medical advice, and it cannot guarantee that any restroom will be available, open, or match what's described — always verify conditions on arrival. What’s new

Version 1.1.8 · Updated October 13, 2026

• Faster map: places load from the centre of the screen out, with no more empty patches when a connection drops. • Public toilets in parks and public spaces across the US are now on the map. • Park pins now sit inside the park, not on a nearby road. Closed places removed, new places added. • Clearer labels for places without a name. • Maps you've already viewed load faster, and stay available offline with Dignity Pass. • Bug fixes.
