ForgeShape: Mesh to Solid

ForgeShape aims to rebuild suitable mesh models into CAD solids and save them as STEP. It also checks and repairs 3D models before printing. Viewing, measurement, processing and export all happen on your device, without uploading your models. Available on Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision Pro. Mesh to Solid Assess a mesh, reconstruct supported planes, cylinders, cones and spheres, and compare the result with the original. Unrecognized regions remain faceted. Results depend on the model: a solid with reconstructed surfaces, a faceted solid, or STEP geometry that does not form a solid. The app identifies the result. Exported files contain no original design history and do not guarantee manufacturing readiness. Check and repair for 3D printing Open STEP/STP, IGES/IGS, STL, OBJ, binary GLB and 3MF. Models that already contain precise CAD geometry can continue with 3D Repair without rebuilding them. Save repair results as STL or 3MF. Find open and non-manifold edges, wrong normals, thin walls and overhangs. Self-intersection checks support models up to 500,000 triangles. Repairs include boundary stitching, orientation fixes, small-hole filling, duplicate-face removal and some non-manifold cases. Compare ordinary repairs before and after. Deep repair tries successive steps and previews shape changes for you to accept. Unresolved issues remain listed. Checks assist print preparation; you still need a slicer. The app does not generate G-code.
