About MOONTIDE
Harness the Moon's energy to command the ocean. Hold anywhere and the tide rises toward you, let go and it comes crashing back down. Your fish simply rides the surface, so every dodge and every close call comes down to how you move the water. Time it perfectly, letting go right at the top of the swell or catching it right at the bottom, and you build Surge: the sea speeds up, your multiplier climbs, and a full meter unleashes a Tidal Rush. The farther you swim the busier the sea gets, with mines, jellyfish, diving gulls and electric gates drifting into your path, and an adaptive score that changes with every biome. Collect pearls and spend them on new fish, trails, moons, crests and splashes, and try anything on before you buy.

THE SURGE UPDATE SURGE: the sea now answers your rhythm. Let go right at the top of the swell, or press again right as it bottoms out, for a PERFECT. Chain them to build Surge: faster water, a bigger multiplier, and at full Surge an earned Tidal Rush. SPLASH: a new shop shelf for what your perfects look like. Ripple, Moondrop, Petals, Starfall, Embers, Frost, Thunder and Koi Ring. TRY BEFORE YOU BUY: tap anything in the shop to see it on your fish first. MUSIC: an adaptive score that builds with your Surge and has its own sound in every biome. Your perfect crests play the melody. A LIVING SEA: a Milky Way overhead, moonlight on the water, and rare sights on the horizon. Keep an eye out for the whale. A CLEANER RUN: boosts, the magnet and the random pearl rush are retired, and a run ends when you crash unless you take a Second Wind. Anything you had armed has been refunded. Also: a new results screen, a redrawn Daily Tide, fresh lettering everywhere, and plenty of small polish.
