AI Meal Planner - DAIDOKO

Recipes, pantry and other records are saved on your phone by default. Photos sent to AI aren't stored on DAIDOKO's servers. Family sharing and web pages cover only what you choose to share. Note: AI runs on Google's paid API; your input isn't used for training. With your own Gemini key, requests go straight from your phone, not through our servers. ■ Ask DAIDOKO AI • Tap "Ask Daidoko AI" at the bottom: plan meals, update your list and pantry, find a recipe, log a dish • Every change needs your tap on a card; "bought" and "used up" can be undone within 24 hours. It never deletes recipes, shared pages or groups, publishes, leaves a group or pays. Report any AI reply in-app • 30 uses per device to start; an ad adds 3 ■ Plan meals • Build a 1-to-7-day plan from your pantry; swap any day • AI drafts missing days, sides, soups — pick which to save • Optional auto-plan: updates on app open, alerts each morning, can auto-add missing items (undo or turn off) ■ Change tonight's dinner • Pick a new dinner from 3 options in 3 screens. Undo within 24 hours in Settings → Data → Recent changes (not if family changed it first) • Counts as DAIDOKO AI uses. Your Gemini key doesn't apply. Typed text is deleted once the plan is made; results stay until received (24 hours max) ■ Your recipes • Search by name, tag or ingredient; import from a URL or text • Photograph a dish, cookbook page or package and AI drafts the recipe • AI recipe images, labeled "This image was created by AI" (3 free a month) ■ Sharing and publishing • Link (recipe or recipe book): opens without the app for 7 days after sending (same browser keeps access), not in search • Publish your own recipe: anyone can view it, it's in search, no expiry; agree to the Terms first. URL imports can't be shared • Stop any time; copies may linger • Report a public page from the page or import screen; we may take it down ■ Shopping and pantry • Add what's missing to your list in one tap • Move purchases to the pantry — receipt scan; optional expiry dates • Snap your fridge — AI reads it; confirm to add to your pantry (photos sent to AI aren't kept; applied stocktakes stay on-device, last 12, deletable and removed from family phones too; if shared, server photos stay until you delete the group, and ones trimmed past 12 stay on family phones and our server) ■ Calories (estimates) • Snap or type a meal; AI reads it and we estimate calories and nutrients, with sources and a range ■ Family groups • Join by invite code ■ Where your data lives • No account; we never hold your email or phone number • Our servers get your data only for family sharing, recipe pages, URL import, AI (incl. DAIDOKO AI's count, ad top-ups), bug reports (text, recent messages, app/OS version, random device ID), content reports, automatic ingredient-name matching and cost estimates (names only), dish-name reading, dish names checked against a shared table when logging meals, and nutrition tables you choose to send • Backup, restore, transfer file, iCloud backup if on • AI: 10 free uses a month for photo recipes and the like (AI images: 3, separate). Own Gemini key removes the limit • In a family group, what you share (recipes, books, list, pantry, meal plans, cooking logs incl. ratings, notes, place names, prices (family can see them)) goes through our server; delete the group and it, photos included, is erased • Pages are separate — deleting the recipe stops them (offline: once you reopen online); deleting the group doesn't. Stop one from the recipe's menu, or a book in Settings → Data → Recipe books Note on AI: an AI feature sends what it needs (photo, ingredients, dish names, recipe, notes, receipt text, DAIDOKO AI chat text); see the privacy policy. Bulk plan inputs are deleted after generation; results are kept until received, 24 hours max. Cost estimates keep only ingredient names and prices. Reports you send are kept. DAIDOKO does not detect allergens. Always check the ingredients yourself.
