About CalSnap: Photo Calorie Counter

Calorie tracking almost always fails at the same step: logging. Searching for every food, picking a portion, doing it all again at the next meal. CalSnap replaces that chore with a photo. SNAP IT, THEN EAT • Take a photo of your meal • CalSnap recognizes the foods and estimates the amounts • You fix anything that’s off, or adjust a portion with a tap • It’s logged MORE WAYS TO LOG • Scan a barcode for packaged foods • Say what you ate, or type it • Add the meals you eat often to your favorites and log them again in one tap • Log workouts, or import them from Apple Health SEE WHERE YOU STAND Today’s calories, protein, carbs and fat against targets worked out from your profile, your streak, and your weight trend toward your goal. Widgets keep today’s numbers on your Home Screen. NO ACCOUNT Your meals, weigh-ins, goals and photos are saved on this device, in the app’s private storage. There’s no account and no online database. To identify a meal, its photo is sent to our AI analysis provider. The provider keeps it for up to 30 days, only to detect abuse of its service, then deletes it. We don’t keep a copy, and the photo stays on your phone. Usage statistics are measured to improve the app: screens opened, features used, response times, and a recording of what’s on screen, so your meals, photos and weight can appear in it. You can opt out in Settings → Privacy and still use everything in the app. WHERE THE NUMBERS COME FROM Every number is traceable, and its source is one tap away from the screen that shows it: • Photos and descriptions: an estimate per 100 g from the image or your words, checked against physical limits on your phone • Foods you search for: the CIQUAL table (ANSES, the French public food safety agency) • Packaged foods: Open Food Facts • Daily energy needs: the Mifflin–St Jeor equation • BMI ranges: the World Health Organization WHAT CALSNAP ISN’T Not a social network, not a coach, not a diet program. A food log that nearly fills itself. CalSnap gives estimates for information only. It does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for a health professional. For any health question or special diet, talk to a professional. CALSNAP PRO Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown until canceled. Free trial where offered; any unused part of a trial ends when you subscribe. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
