MADA — That Time, That Place, and a Story This moment, for someone you'll become ■ Who It's For MADA is for people who travel — a weekend trip, a first-date spot, a family vacation, a city they moved away from — and want a piece of that place to stay exactly there, instead of scrolling past it in a feed a week later. It's built for solo travelers who keep a private travel journal, and for friend groups who'd rather leave one shared memory than four separate camera rolls. If you like the small thrill of a locked diary, a message in a bottle, or a postcard that arrives late, this app's pace will feel familiar rather than slow. ■ Why It's Different Most apps let you post the moment you feel it. MADA asks you to wait. A capsule can only be reopened by standing in the same place again — and if you set a date, only after that date has passed too. Nothing is lost, but nothing is instant either: the story stays exactly where you left it, waiting for the version of you who comes back. ■ How It Works 1. Find a spot on the map that means something, and tap "Leave a capsule." 2. Write your story. Decide whether it's just you, or friends you'll invite to write alongside you. 3. Choose how it opens — right away, or locked until a date far in the future. 4. Seal the capsule. 5. Reopening it means coming back to that exact place — and if a date was set, waiting until it's passed. Time and place both have to align. 6. Every place you've sealed a capsule builds "My Footprints" — your own travel map and record — and titles unlock as it grows. 7. In "Explore," discover public capsules other people have sealed all across the map. (Co-writing, in detail) An invited friend also has to physically arrive at the same place to add their own entry — and if they don't get there within 60 minutes of sealing, they miss that capsule entirely. ■ Five Things You Can Do 1. A Time Capsule Left at a Place — Choose a spot on the map that means something to you, write your story, and seal it as a capsule. Open it right away, or lock it for a distant future. 2. Right There, At That Time — A capsule can only be opened after verifying your location at the place it was sealed. Time and place must both align for the story to be unlocked again. 3. Capsules Written Together with Friends — Multiple people can each add their own story to a single shared capsule. 4. My Footprints — The places where you've left capsules build into your own personal map and record, and you'll earn titles as you go. 5.
