About Rung Royal: Court Piece Rang

Court Piece, the way your family plays it: the same thirteen cards, the same argument over trump, and the same Dadi who somehow always wins. No real-money play, no gambling, no coins to buy. Court Piece is the four-player trump card game, played two against two, that families across India and Pakistan grew up with: at weddings, on long train journeys, on the family charpai, and in homes abroad on every visit back. Some call it Coat Piece or Kot Piece, some know it as Hokm, and at home it is often just Rang. Rung Royal brings it to your phone in five games and eight languages, with your house rules. PLAY COURT PIECE OFFLINE No signal on the train? Three bots take the other chairs, and every rule plays offline exactly as it does online. Deal a hand anywhere, any time, no internet needed. FIVE GAMES, ONE TABLE • Single Sir: classic Court Piece. Every trick counts as it falls, seven tricks win the round, and the first seven straight is a kot • Double Sir (Double Sar): tricks pile up face down in the middle until one player wins two in a row, and a kot means all thirteen. Play it with the Ace rules, Ace on Ace and Trump Ace, if your family does • Hidden Rung (Band Rung): the trump card lies face down; only the caller knows it, until someone asks • Be-Ranga: nobody calls trump, and the first card off suit sets it • Mendikot: the battle for the tens, also played as Mendicot, Mendi Coat or Dehla Pakad. Three tens take the round, all four is a mendikot YOUR HOUSE RULES • Win the round and your side calls trump next, the way it should be • Play for points or for kots • Mendikot your family's way, Katte or Band • Pass the trump call to your partner, change it once before the first card, or ask for new cards after the deal COURT PIECE ONLINE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS • Open a private table and send the invite on WhatsApp; the link opens the game straight into your room • Your sister in London, your parents in Lahore or Delhi, you in Dubai or Toronto: one table • An empty chair?
