NOX: Rude Memento Mori

NOX is a memento mori app with a personality problem. Most death reminder apps are serene. They show you a grid of the weeks you have left and invite you to reflect. NOX is not serene. NOX is a four-hundred-year-old vampire who cannot die, finds that deeply boring, and resents that you are wasting the one thing he would trade three centuries for. Five times a day — or once, if you are delicate — he interrupts to point out that you are mortal and are currently spending that mortality on a rectangle. The clock counts toward a number you choose and can change whenever you like — it is a dial, not a forecast. Nothing here is health advice, and the joke is always aimed at procrastination and the phone, never at you. PRIVACY Your birth date and settings never leave your device.
