Point the camera at a recipe card, a cookbook page, or a handwritten note. Import a PDF. Ten imports a month are free. Made yours Swap any ingredient with one tap and put it back with another. Tell Hearthside what you avoid in plain words — "walnut allergy only," "vegetarian," "no cilantro" — and every recipe is checked, old and new. Allergies are marked in red, preferences in amber, and nothing is ever silently rewritten. Add any recipe to any cookbook. Photographed Hearthside makes a photograph for the recipes you save, styled as if they were already in print — twenty-five a month on Cook, a hundred and fifty a month on Heirloom, and three days of Cook to try it when you join. Cookbook covers put you on the front. This is what the app is for. Cook without doubt Reading mode is a book page: serif type, a proper ingredients column, the story of the dish. Cooking mode is a tool: large type, tick each step, timers that ring when the phone is locked. Scale a recipe and the step times change with it — a crowded tray takes longer, boiling pasta doesn't.
