WHAT YOU GET • 45,000+ live stations, by country, genre or name • What's this song? Name the song on air, save it, and open it in your music app • Widgets for your home screen and lock screen: your station, your favourites, or what's playing now • A sleep timer, so the radio stops by itself • Reminders for the shows you don't want to miss • Background playback with lock screen controls • Track titles wherever the station sends them • Search filters for country, genre and stream format • Share a station as a card, straight to Instagram Stories • In 13 languages, with a layout made for iPad BUILT FOR RELIABILITY Dead streams are the single biggest complaint in every radio app. Lume Radio handles them properly. When a stream fails it retries, tells you exactly which station is unavailable, and offers the next best station in the same country or genre. Stations that repeatedly fail get demoted so you stop running into them. Your favourites and station list are cached on the device, so the app opens and plays without waiting on the network. NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-UP There is no account and nothing to register. Your favourites and recently played stations are stored on your device. Lume Radio does collect anonymous usage statistics — which stations get played, whether streams connect, which features get used — so we can fix what breaks, and these are shared with our analytics provider. They are not linked to your identity, not sold, and not used to track you across other apps or websites. Searches are counted, never their text. Your country is detected from your device's language settings, so the app never asks for location access. STATION DATA Station information is provided by the radio-browser.info community database. Lume Radio streams audio directly from each broadcaster and does not host, record, or store any audio. If you are a rights holder and want a station removed, visit https://lume-radio-web.vercel.app/support. We honour removal requests within 48 hours. WHAT LUME RADIO DOESN'T DO There is no recording, no download, and no timeshift — deliberately, and permanently.
