About Casebook: Murder Mystery Logic

Read the statements. Find the contradiction. Name the culprit. No timers, no luck, no tapping speed. Just you and a case that has exactly one answer. A night of freezing rain at a mountain lodge, cut off by the storm. The master of the house is found struck down. Six people were there. Every one of them gave a statement, and every statement is true. That is the hard part. HOW IT PLAYS - Nobody lies to you. The testimony simply doesn't point anywhere - until you cross-reference it - "The Butler was not in the greenhouse." "The one who carried the rope was in the study." Rule things out until exactly one arrangement survives - Fill the grid, then face one final question: who is the culprit? - There is always exactly one answer. Guessing will not get you there FEATURES Endless cases Every case is generated fresh, and the app verifies that the solution is unique before it hands the case to you. You will not run out. Four case levels From a Minor Case (3x3) up to a Cold Case (6x6). Even the smallest case gives you who, with what, and where - a real whodunit, not a warm-up. Today's Case Generated from the calendar date, so everyone in the world is working the same case today. Your streak is tracked. Three scenes The Snowed-In Lodge, The Night Express, The Hot-Spring Inn. Each brings its own suspects, objects and rooms. Detective rank Apprentice, Assistant, Detective, Inspector, Master Detective. Cases closed become a title. Tools of the trade Pencil mode for tentative marks, auto-elimination, and a single-cell hint when a case truly stalls. WHO THIS IS FOR - Readers who have finished every Christie and want to sit on the other side of the desk for once - Sudoku and crossword solvers who would rather reason in words than in numbers - Anyone who wants the five minutes on the train to be worth something - Anyone tired of energy meters, daily login streaks and pop-ups PRIVACY - No account. No email. Nothing to sign up for. - Cases are generated on your device, and your records stay on your device. - No third-party advertising SDKs and no behavioural tracking. - No cloud sync (which also means your records do not travel to a new phone). The app may contact Apple's public API to show other apps by the same developer. Nothing about you is sent when it does.
