About Logbook: OPTCG Card Scanner

Photograph a card. Logbook tells you which printing you pulled, base, parallel, alt art or manga rare, and what it is worth this morning on the market you actually buy from. "Which printing" is the part most collection apps get wrong. A single card number can exist as four or five different prints, and the gap between them is often a hundred euros. Logbook shows you every printing that shares the number and lets you pick the one in your hand, so your collection is right at the level where the value actually sits. TWO MARKETS, YOUR CHOICE Cardmarket in euros, or TCGplayer in dollars. Pick the one you buy from when you set up, change it any time in Settings, and the whole app follows: card pages, sets, portfolio and the buy buttons. You also decide which figure counts, the average sale price or the lowest listing. WHAT IS IN IT - 3,000 cards and 5,500 printings, from OP01 through the current set, plus 470 sealed products - A daily price on every card page, refreshed every morning - Price history on a card's page, kept separate by language, so a Japanese print is never valued at the English price - A portfolio dashboard: total value, its daily curve, the biggest movers of the day, and what your purchases have become - Set completion for every set, counted printing by printing - A wishlist pinned to the exact printing you want, which clears itself the moment that card enters your collection - Sealed boxes, decks and cases in the same portfolio as your singles, with the price you paid and what they are worth now - Multiple copies per card, and a running total for everything you own - One tap hides every amount on screen. A portfolio of cards is something people photograph - Recognition runs on your iPhone, with no signal and without a single photo leaving the device ABOUT THE PRICES They come from Cardmarket or TCGplayer, whichever market you chose. They are a market indication, not an offer and not financial advice. What a card really sells for depends on its condition, its grading and its language. Where a printing cannot be matched to a listing, the figure is derived from the other printings of the same card and marked as approximate rather than invented. A few printings have no market of their own yet, and those show no figure at all rather than a guess. WHAT IT COSTS Everything in Logbook is free up to 10 items. Not a trimmed version: the prices, the printings, the sets, the wishlist and the sealed products are all there. Past 10 items Logbook is a subscription, and what the subscription buys is the removal of that ceiling. There is nothing else behind it. Identifying a card is part of the app, so past 10 items you subscribe to keep scanning. Weekly, monthly and yearly plans. Cancel any time from your Apple ID settings. If you stop, anything past your first 10 items is hidden until you resume. Nothing is deleted. WHO IT IS FOR Collectors and investors, not deck builders. There is no deck editor, no meta report, no tier list and no tournament tooling. Logbook does one job: it knows what you own, down to the printing, and what it is worth this morning. A free account is required, so that your collection survives a lost phone and follows you to the next one. Price alerts. Pick a price, and Logbook tells you when a card gets there. - Tap "Notify me at a price" on any card, set your target, and get a notification when it crosses it. - A new Alerts page, behind the bell on Home, gathers the alerts that went off and the cards you watch. - A Sunday summary when your collection moves. One switch in Settings turns it all off. - On a card, swipe sideways to the next one, and tap the card to see it up close. - The scanner recognises more cards and mixes them up less often. - The price chart turns green or red over the period you pick, and scrubbing shows the exact price. - Sets are grouped by line, OP, EB and PRB, and promos by where they came from. - Fixed: a few promo printings priced against the wrong listing, one of them at 8,000 €.
