About RideTune: Bike suspension

Your bike's suspension was set at the factory for one rider, no luggage. Add panniers, a passenger, or a few extra kilos and that setting no longer fits. RideTune tells you where to start. HOW IT WORKS Pick your bike, enter your weight and what you're carrying — luggage, a passenger, or both. The app works out a starting point for preload, rebound and compression, front and rear. WHERE THE NUMBERS COME FROM From the owner's manual, wherever one exists. Every bike shows the source of its data, and when there's no documented factory setting the app says N/A instead of making a number up. If your bike has no front compression adjuster, that's what you'll read. Where the manufacturer publishes load tables, the app interpolates between the real points. Where it doesn't, it uses the brand's known formula and tells you so. WHAT YOU GET • 120 bikes across 14 brands — adventure to supermoto • Front and rear suspension values, by load • Sag: what to measure and how • Factory tyre pressures, solo and loaded • Diagnostics: describe what you feel on the road, get a suggestion • A riding diary, to record what you changed and what worked • Six languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German and Italian FREE AND PREMIUM Free: one bike, one profile, solo mode. All languages included. Premium, one-time purchase: unlimited bikes and profiles, every load mode, saved setups. No subscription, no ads. WHAT RIDETUNE IS NOT It's not a replacement for a suspension technician. These are documented starting points, not a final setup. Always confirm by measuring sag, and adjust to what you feel.
