About Track Your Ascents - Summit

Summit is a climbing log for peak-baggers, highpointers, and mountaineers chasing the big lists. Log every summit you've stood on, watch your map fill in region by region, and see exactly where you stand on the Seven Summits and all 50 US state high points. No account. No ads. No tracking. Just the peaks you've climbed, lit up on a 3D globe you can spin. 500,000+ PEAKS, ZERO CONNECTION Search half a million mountains, peaks, and volcanoes across 222 countries - the entire database is bundled inside the app. No signal at the trailhead, no problem. Summit works entirely offline. TWO LEGENDARY CHALLENGES The Seven Summits (both Oceania variants - Kosciuszko and Puncak Jaya) and all 50 US state high points. Denali counts toward both. Progress rings show where you stand at a glance: continents, states, peaks. 14 GLOBE AND MAP VIEWS Spin a Metal-rendered 3D globe or flatten it into a world map. Start with the Atlas Globe, or unlock six premium styles: Topographic, Blueprint, Continental, Night Lights, Antique Parchment, and Mosaic. With Pro, climbed regions can rise off the sphere as a 3D heat map of where you've spent your seasons. BUILD YOUR CLIMBING LOG Summit date, notes, photos, and a difficulty grade from Easy to Extreme - every grade says what it means, so a climb you logged last year still compares to one you log tomorrow. Summit height comes along automatically. Search your whole history by peak or note, page through it, and filter dated from undated. Undated climbs are welcome - that peak from years ago still counts. SHARE THE SUMMIT Every climb makes a ticket: your peak up top, a torn perforation, then a stub ruled with the date, region, and summit height. Send it anywhere. SET A GOAL, WATCH IT FILL Pick a preset - Seven Summits, 50 US High Points, Five 14ers - or build your own: any peak, an elevation floor, or a challenge list, with an optional deadline. Your goal takes over the home screen and rides along in your widget. THE NUMBERS BEHIND THE CLIMBS Peaks climbed, highest summit, total summit elevation, countries. Then the insights: your first summit, your latest, your most-climbed continent. First peak ever, first in a new country, first on a new continent - each one gets its moment. YOUR STATS ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Small, medium, and large widgets. Choose your hero stat: peaks climbed, Seven Summits, US high points, continents, or your active goal. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No accounts. No cloud sync. No external servers. No analytics. Summit never asks for your location - peak coordinates come from the bundled database. Your climbing history stays on your device, always. PERFECT FOR - Peak-baggers working through a list - Highpointers chasing all 50 states - Mountaineers keeping a summit register - Anyone who wants a private, offline record of where they've stood SUMMIT PRO - Photos on your climbs - All 14 globe and map views - State and province-level tracking - Custom goals - Home screen widgets - Highlight styles, including the 3D heat map - Custom highlight and border colors $39.99/year or $9.99/month, each starting with a 7-day free trial. Everything else stays free: unlimited climbs, the full peak database, every challenge stat, the Atlas globe, and all three goal presets. Peak data from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0). Region outlines from geoBoundaries. Privacy Policy: https://flowstateindustries.com/privacy Terms of Use: https://flowstateindustries.com/terms

What’s new

Version 1.1.0 · Updated October 22, 2026

Difficulty, in plain words. Rate a climb Easy, Moderate, Hard, Strenuous, or Extreme instead of picking a number out of ten. Every grade says what it means, so a climb you logged last year still compares to one you log tomorrow. A better climb ticket. The card you share got rebuilt - your peak up top, a torn perforation, then a stub ruled with the date, region, and summit height. Runs on more iPhones. Summit now supports iOS 18 and later. Also in this release: - The globe is easier on your battery: it stops drawing when nothing is looking at it, and every view now shares one set of GPU resources - Logging a climb turns the globe to face it - Dozens of smaller fixes across the map, the log, and settings
