Temalog — Day Rate + Site Log

Temalog is a record-keeping app for independent tradespeople in Japanese construction. It records how many days you worked at each site and what materials you paid for out of pocket, so that at month end you have the basis for what you invoice. Most site-attendance apps are built for the company managing the workers. Temalog is built for the person being recorded. ■ Three taps a day Pick the site, tap the number of days, save. Half days, full days and overtime-inclusive amounts are all buttons. Two sites in one day is just two entries. ■ A rate per site, with history Each site can have a daily rate, an hourly rate and an overtime rate. Rates are stored as revisions with an effective date, so raising your rate never changes an amount you already reported. ■ Never forget an advance Record the amount, the vendor, a photo of the receipt and which site it should be billed to. Anything still unbilled shows up before you close the month. ■ Closing days per site Set a closing day per site — the 20th, end of month, whatever each contractor uses. A closing period runs from the day after the previous closing day. Home totals use calendar months, and both are labelled so they are never confused. ■ Confirmed amounts stay put Confirming a closing freezes the days, rates and advances as they stood. Editing records afterwards does not change what you confirmed; you close again and the previous confirmation is kept in the history. ■ Output Export a monthly work sheet as a PDF. CSV export is free. ■ Estimate drafts Lay out an estimate in three parts: labor, materials and expenses. You can copy a site's own day rate into a labor line. You enter every amount yourself; the app never suggests market or benchmark prices. ■ No account needed Everything is stored on this device, photos included.
