Purify: Orthodox Hub

Purify: Orthodox Prayer & Study Library Purify is an Eastern Orthodox prayer book, Bible reader, and study library, built to open like a traditional prayer book. The whole library is free and uncapped. No ads, no tracking, no account required. THE DAILY LIFE * Today at a glance: the day's saint, the fast, and the appointed readings in one place. * Morning and evening prayers, the Hours, and the akathists. * The complete prayer book and the Nicene Creed, with fast search. * A digital prayer rope with a quiet haptic tick on every knot. * The church calendar: every feast, every fast, and the countdown to Pascha. Old Calendar supported. THE SCRIPTURES * Verse by verse commentary from twenty four Church Fathers across twenty six books of the Bible. St. John Chrysostom on Matthew, John and the Epistles. St. Cyril of Alexandria on Luke and John. St. Gregory the Great on the whole of Job. St. Augustine on the Psalms and the Gospels. * Every voice in the commentary is one the Orthodox Church venerates. * Read the English beside the original Greek, word by word. * Multi-passage search and lookup across the whole Bible. THE LIBRARY * More than 150 saints, with their lives, and the complete writings of those whose works survive in public domain. * The Ecumenical Councils and the pre-Nicene councils in their own words. * Doctrinal topics, theological studies, and the answers the Church gave to the heresies. * Your reading position is kept for you, so you never lose your place in a long work. TRUSTED TEXTS Every text names its source. Translations are public-domain editions of the Fathers and the liturgical books, quoted verbatim. Nothing is paraphrased, and nothing is invented. Where a translator left a passage out, the page says so rather than quietly closing the gap. PRIVACY * Your notes, highlights and bookmarks stay on your device. * Every part of the library opens without an account. * Sign in only if you want your reading to follow you between devices. * Delete your account at any time and it is erased from our servers. PURIFY PLUS AND PURIFY PRO The library stays free. An optional subscription adds notes, highlights and bookmarks that sync, custom collections and the Florilegium, and Immersive History.
