GroundFlow: Field Service

GroundFlow keeps your whole field operation in one place. Managers build the schedule, crews run the day from their phones, and the paperwork comes back finished instead of getting chased down at the end of the week. Built for contractors, utility and line crews, landscaping and grounds teams, and anyone who sends people to job sites every day. PLAN THE DAY • Build shifts and jobs on a day-by-day ops board • Drag crew members into open slots, or auto-draft a crew and adjust it • See who is genuinely available — time off, certifications and employment status are all checked before someone lands on a job • Bring in subcontractors when your own crew is short RUN THE DAY FROM THE FIELD • Techs open one screen showing their shift, job site, crew and vehicle • Tailboard safety briefings reviewed and signed on the phone before work starts • Site inspections and job notes captured with photos • Designed for use from the truck, not the office VEHICLES AND DVIRs • Pre-trip and post-trip inspections with defect reporting • Vehicle list, assignment and maintenance tracking • Inspection history kept and searchable TIME AND PAYROLL • Hours captured against the shift instead of typed in from memory • Manual timesheet entry for crews working off-schedule • Manager review and approval before hours reach payroll • Time off requests and approvals in the same app WORK ORDERS AND INVOICING • Crews close out work orders on site • Managers verify and approve them before anything is billed • Generate invoices straight from approved shifts, or build one by hand • Line-item detail carries through from the field to the invoice CREW AND CERTIFICATIONS • Employee records, roles and crew structure • Certification and ticket uploads with manager review and expiry dates • Emergency contacts and home address on file for dispatch • Invite employees by email — they set their own password on first sign-in COMMUNICATION • Team channels for crews and managers • Shared documents and resources your crew can pull up on site • A client portal so customers can follow the job they are paying for BUILT AROUND ROLES GroundFlow changes shape depending on who signs in. Technicians see their day and the paperwork attached to it. Managers see the ops board, the approval queue and the crew. Admins see everything. ACCOUNT REQUIRED GroundFlow is workplace software. You need an account created by your employer in order to sign in — you cannot create a company account from inside the app. If your company does not use GroundFlow yet, get in touch and we will set you up.
