Skopd: Family Media Previews

Skopd does the homework so you can make informed decisions. Every parent knows the question: "Can I watch this?" It's usually about something you've never heard of. Skopd gives you a fast, detailed content preview of any movie, TV show, video game, or book, so you can decide what's right for YOUR family. You set the criteria for what matters most to you, Skopd does the work. The decision is always yours. Skopd never tells you what's "appropriate" because no algorithm knows your kids and your family's values the way you do. HOW IT WORKS • Tell Skopd what types of content you want included in every review. You can get as detailed about the criteria as you want. Every family is different, so get into the weeds on this! • Type in any title. Skopd generates a clear content review based on your custom criteria, drawing on publicly available information and official rating boards (MPAA, TV, ESRB). • Read what's actually in it — language, violence, mature themes, and more — along with the official rating and why it earned it. • YOU set the verdict: Yes, Nope, or With Me (watch together). You can even make a different call for each of your kids with optional age-gating. BUILT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY • Up to two parents can share full admin access and manage the family's watchlist together. • Kids get their own simple, PIN-protected login. No separate device or app store account needed. • Kids never create their own account or share personal information; everything is set up and managed by a parent. • Kids can request a review for something they want to watch, play, or read and you're notified to run it and make the call. • If a kid disagrees with your decision, they can appeal. But you always have the final say. • Optional age-gating allows you to set different verdicts for different kids. Something appropriate for a 15 year old may not be appropriate for a 7 year old. • You can even share verdict cards for times when your kids are staying with friends or family. COVERS WHAT YOUR FAMILY ACTUALLY USES Movies, TV shows, video games, AND books — all in one place. (Books have no official content rating, so Skopd gives you the details and lets you judge. It never invents a rating.) WHY FAMILIES USE SKOPD Parenting is full of on-the-spot media decisions about titles you have no time to research. Skopd turns that guessing game into an informed choice. Skopd gives you the facts in seconds, but the decision is ALWAYS yours.
